Job Description

Overview We are seeking an experienced Community Manager to oversee daily operations for a 2-property, 59-unit residential community. This role is responsible for managing leasing activities, resident relations, property operations, maintenance coordination, and compliance with housing regulations. The ideal candidate will have strong customer service, administrative, and sales skills with the ability to create a positive resident experience while maintaining high occupancy and efficient property performance. The Community Manager will serve as the main point of contact for residents, vendors, and prospective tenants.
Schedule:
Monday Tuesday Off Wednesday Thursday Friday Occasional Saturdays Shift:
8:30 AM - 5:00PM Duties Manage all aspects of property leasing, including showing units, processing applications, and executing lease agreements using property management software (AppFolio). Ensure compliance with all applicable housing laws and Fair Housing regulations. Handle tenant relations, including conflict management, rent collection, and addressing resident Oversee property maintenance coordination and communicate with vendors as needed. Serve as the primary point of contact for residents, staff, and vendors to ensure smooth daily operations Manage leasing activities, including sales techniques, follow-up with prospective residents, negotiation skills, and leasing units. Support occupancy goals and maintain high resident satisfaction.records, and financial reports. Handle responsibilities related to rent collection, security deposits, budgets, and vendor payments. Skills Property management experience Multi-unit residential community experience Property management software experience (AppFolio, Yardi) Understanding of Fair Housing regulations Ability to manage multiple priorities Strong team management skills to lead staff effectively within a fast-paced environment.
