We are currently seeking a collaborative and driven Community Manager to lead our property team in Farmville, VA . About the Role As a Community Manager, you will be the heartbeat of our Farmville community. Working alongside our local and regional team members, you'll help guide daily property operations, support resident satisfaction, and drive financial success together.
Key Responsibilities Represent Our Shared Values:
Partner with team members, residents, and leadership to create a professional, welcoming, and productive environment for everyone.
Grow Our Community:
Work with the marketing and leasing team to attract new residents through collaborative outreach and exceptional service.
Lead and Support On-Site Staff:
Work hand-in-hand with maintenance and grounds staff daily, prioritizing work orders, removing roadblocks, and supporting their success.
Maintain Proud Grounds:
Conduct daily walk-throughs with your team to ensure clean, beautiful, and safe surroundings our residents are proud to call home.
Resident Partnership:
Build genuine relationships with residents, working proactively to resolve issues and foster a true sense of belonging.
Operations & Financial Goals:
Collaborate with regional management to hit shared budget targets, maintain smooth office workflows, and achieve rent collection goals above 95%.
Ensure Smooth Moves:
Coordinate with staff and vendors to ensure seamless, on-time home deliveries for incoming residents.
Team Player Flexibility:
Pitch in on administrative duties, local compliance, and special team projects whenever needed.
What We're Looking For Team-First Mindset:
Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with a passion for helping others succeed.
Relevant Experience:
Background in manufactured or affordable housing is a big plus; experience in marketing, sales, or customer service is ideal.
Tech-Savvy:
Comfort using Microsoft Office/Google Workspace, web-based property management software, and digital photo/document tools.
Detail-Oriented & Adaptable:
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Education:
High school diploma or GED required.
What We Offer Salary:
$45,000 - $55,000 annually (commensurate with experience)
