We are currently seeking a Food Service Manager, Community Corrections who has a passion for providing the highest quality care in a residential setting. The Food Service Manager, Community Correction s is responsible for directing and coordinating all functions and activities of the Food Service Department including monitoring operational costs and maintaining effective administrative relations and professional standards of performance. Supervise food service staff and residents in the performance of their duties and evaluate as prescribed by facility and corporate policy. Supervise the preparation of meals in accordance with standard menus and recipe cards approved by a registered dietitian. Inspect and taste prepared foods to maintain quality standards and sanitation regulations. Direct the serving of meals in accordance with feeding schedule and in compliance with standards to include portion control, temperature and proper serving procedures.Qualifications:
High school diploma, GED certification or equivalent. Three years experience in food service and prior supervisory experience required. Additional education may be substituted for experience on a year-for-year basis to a maximum of two years. Must meet all state and local government food handling requirements. A valid driver's license is required. Must demonstrate a knowledge of all aspects of food service operation including cost control, food quality, safety and sanitation.Minimum Age Requirement:
