A Property Manager manages operations for an apartment building or complex. Recruits and screens tenants for apartments, collects rents and security deposits, responds to requests or complaints from tenants, supervises maintenance and repairs; oversees payment of bills, insurance, taxes and recordkeeping. Manages property and services on behalf of a community association, for properties such as condominiums or cooperatives. Collects fees or dues, responds to requests or complaints, supervises maintenance, oversees work done by contractors, and provides accounting of income and expenses. May also assist owners or a board of directors with regulatory compliance or compliance with community association rules. Manages the operation of commercial or residential properties. Oversees the collection of rents and payment of bills, taxes and insurance for properties, and provides property owners with reports on finances and the status of properties. Directs leasing operations, or equipment and machinery rentals, for a company or business. Determines charges and prepares rental or lease agreements; supervises inventory, equipment maintenance and recordkeeping for leasing operations.

Join us and make your mark - where excellence meets purpose, and great minds truly matter. The good-faith pay range for this role is $37,800 - $49,900 per year. Actual compensation may vary and may be above the posted range based on factors such as a candidate's skills, experience, education, certifications, and work location. What your job will be like: Perform a variety of activities in support of property control functions including data entry, and database management. Review procurement and financial records for the purpose of validating property data generated by Shipping and Receiving clerks and property custodians. Track and verify assignment of new property and "on line" location changes and custodial transfers of existing property. Perform physical checks of buildings to identify possible Personal Property items not captured in the inventory database. Perform quality control checks on database to identify missing information and updates the data as needed. Participate in planning and execution of annual physical property inventories. Provide routine technical assistance with property assignments, classifications, disposals, passes, and inventory procedures.

In this job you will:

Operate forklift/truck. Review asset movements in support of the lab's mission. Review financial transactions, and credit card purchase records to verify property items. Approve and complete custodial transfers in the property system. Performs floor to record checks for Personal Property. Generates periodic reports/ data calls as needed using scripts on database tables. Assists in the annual physical inventory of property. Assists in annual inventory validation.

Experience Required:

2 or more years relevant experience

Preferred:

2 or more years Fork Lift/Truck operator

Education Required:

High School Diploma Experience and Education Exchange Education above the minimum may be substituted for experience. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Ability to update databases to ensure accurate recording of property movements. Ability to perform simple accounting procedures. Valid drivers license. Knowledge of industrial safety rules. Ability to read and understand property and safety regulations and requirements. Ability to write scripts to create reports for audits, data calls, and annual reports.
