Competitive base salary + unlimited PTO + comprehensive benefits package Position Overview We are seeking a highly experienced and hands-on Commercial Property Manager to oversee a premier Class A retail portfolio in Tysons Corner, totaling over one million square feet. This fully onsite role requires a dynamic professional with deep expertise in retail operations, tenant engagement, and construction project management. The ideal candidate brings a strong operational mindset, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to manage high-traffic retail environments while maintaining best-in-class property standards and an elevated tenant and customer experience. Key Responsibilities Oversee daily operations of a Class A retail portfolio, ensuring excellence across maintenance, engineering, common area presentation, and customer-facing environments Lead construction and project management efforts for tenant build-outs, redevelopments, and capital improvements, including: Reviewing bids and managing contractor selection Interpreting and coordinating plans, specifications, and construction documents Managing permitting processes and local regulatory approvals Overseeing project timelines, budgets, and delivery Serve as the primary point of contact for retail tenants, fostering strong relationships and ensuring a high-touch, service-oriented experience Maintain a strong on-site presence to support tenant operations, customer experience, and property performance Develop and manage annual operating budgets, track financial performance, and prepare variance reports and CAM reconciliations Conduct regular property inspections to ensure Class A standards, safety compliance, merchandising standards, and overall asset quality Solicit, negotiate, and manage vendor contracts (janitorial, security, landscaping, HVAC, parking operations, etc.) with a focus on cost efficiency and service quality Partner closely with leasing teams to support tenant openings, store build-outs, merchandising strategies, and space delivery Ensure lease compliance, including co-tenancy requirements, operating covenants, and retail-specific provisions Collaborate with ownership, asset management, and marketing teams to align operations with asset strategy, foot traffic goals, and revenue optimization Qualifications Minimum 5+ years of commercial property management experience, with a focus on Class A retail assets Proven experience managing large-scale retail centers or mixed-use environments (1M+ square feet preferred)
Required:
