Collects fees or dues, responds to requests or complaints, supervises maintenance, oversees work done by contractors, and provides accounting of income and expenses. May also assist owners or a board of directors with regulatory compliance or compliance with community association rules. Manages the operation of commercial or residential properties. Oversees the collection of rents and payment of bills, taxes and insurance for properties, and provides property owners with reports on finances and the status of properties. Directs leasing operations, or equipment and machinery rentals, for a company or business. Determines charges and prepares rental or lease agreements; supervises inventory, equipment maintenance and recordkeeping for leasing operations.

Overview We are seeking a dedicated Property Manager to oversee our residential and commercial properties. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a customer-focused mindset, and a comprehensive understanding of property management practices. This role involves ensuring the efficient operation of properties, maintaining positive tenant relationships, and maximizing property value through effective management strategies. Responsibilities Manage day-to-day operations of assigned properties, ensuring they are well-maintained and compliant with regulations. Develop and maintain strong relationships with tenants and owners, addressing their needs and concerns promptly to enhance customer satisfaction. Oversee property leasing activities, including marketing available units, conducting property tours, and processing applications. Coordinate maintenance requests and work closely with vendors to ensure timely repairs and upkeep. Maintain accurate records of property operations, including lease agreements, tenant communications, and maintenance logs using property management software such as Appfolio. Implement administrative procedures for efficient property management operations, including budgeting and financial reporting. Ensure compliance with local laws and regulations related to property management and leasing practices. Conduct regular inspections of properties to identify areas for improvement or maintenance needs. Conduct site visits and property inspections. Experience Proven experience in property management or a related field is preferred. Real Estate License preferred. Strong customer service skills with a focus on building positive relationships with tenants and owners. Familiarity with customer relationship management systems is preferred. Administrative experience is necessary to handle documentation and reporting effectively. Sales experience is a plus for promoting available properties and negotiating lease terms. Knowledge of relevant laws governing property management is highly desirable. Proficiency in using property management software such as Appfolio will be an advantage. Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills are required to interact professionally with tenants and vendors.
