Oversees the collection of rents and payment of bills, taxes and insurance for properties, and provides property owners with reports on finances and the status of properties. Directs leasing operations, or equipment and machinery rentals, for a company or business. Determines charges and prepares rental or lease agreements; supervises inventory, equipment maintenance and recordkeeping for leasing operations.

Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Temporary Multifamily Property Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our residential community. This energetic role involves managing leasing activities, maintaining property standards, ensuring compliance with housing regulations, and delivering exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, proactive, and possess a strong background in property management, administrative functions, and client relations. This temporary position offers an exciting opportunity to lead with enthusiasm and make a positive impact on residents and team members alike. Duties Manage leasing processes including lease or rental agreement management, tenant screening, and move-in/move-out procedures using property management tools such as Yardi and OneSite Oversee property maintenance requests, coordinate repairs, and ensure facilities management standards are met to uphold property value and resident satisfaction Administer rent collection, budgeting, and financial reporting activities while maintaining accurate data entry and filing records Enforce Fair Housing regulations, landlord-tenant laws, Section 8 guidelines, LIHTC (Low-Income Housing Tax Credit), and other legal requirements to ensure compliance across all operations Conduct regular property inspections, safety checks, and coordinate with vendors for property upkeep using CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) software Handle client communication with professionalism via phone etiquette and conflict management skills to resolve resident concerns promptly and effectively Assist in upselling amenities or lease extensions to maximize occupancy rates while fostering positive relationships with residents and prospects Qualifications Proven experience in property management or real estate administrative roles with familiarity in property leasing, contracts, and tenant relations Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook), and other property management tools such as Client Relationship Management (CRM) systems. AppFolio preferred Legal administrative experience related to landlord-tenant law, Fair Housing regulations, Section 8 programs, LIHTC compliance, and facilities management Excellent conflict management skills coupled with negotiation abilities to handle lease agreements and resident issues effectively Demonstrated team management capabilities with the ability to coordinate multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on clear communication and professional phone etiquette Office experience including data entry, filing systems, and administrative support functions necessary for smooth operations Join us in this vibrant role where your enthusiasm fuels community success!
