We are seeking a dedicated, compassionate, and results-driven Executive Director to lead our Manitowoc community. This individual will oversee all aspects of operations, resident care, team leadership, regulatory compliance, sales, and financial performance while fostering a culture of excellence and accountability. Benefits Competitive Salary Health Insurance Dental Insurance 401(k) Paid Time Off (PTO) Flexible Spending Account (FSA) Leadership Development Opportunities Position Summary The Executive Director serves as the operational and administrative leader of the community and is responsible for ensuring high-quality resident care, strong team performance, regulatory compliance, financial success, and occupancy growth. The Executive Director is the primary point of contact for residents, families, staff, community partners, regulatory agencies, and the public. Key ResponsibilitiesCommunity Leadership & Operations Oversee all daily operations of the community. Ensure compliance with all federal, state, local, and company regulations and policies. Create and maintain an environment that promotes resident dignity, safety, and quality of life. Develop and implement policies and procedures that support operational excellence. Team Leadership Recruit, hire, onboard, coach, and retain high-performing team members. Provide leadership, mentorship, and accountability for all departments. Conduct performance evaluations and address employee relations issues in accordance with company policies. Foster a positive workplace culture focused on teamwork, professionalism, and resident-centered care. Resident Care & Family Relations Build strong relationships with residents and families. Ensure service plans are developed, reviewed, and updated appropriately. Oversee healthcare management, resident documentation, medication administration practices, and care coordination. Partner with nursing staff to support training and quality outcomes. Financial Management Assist with the development and management of annual operating and capital budgets. Monitor expenses and identify opportunities to improve efficiency while maintaining quality care. Ensure responsible stewardship of community resources. Sales & Occupancy Growth Lead community outreach, marketing, and sales initiatives. Develop relationships with referral sources and community organizations. Drive census growth and achieve occupancy goals. Represent the community professionally within the local market. Property Management Oversee maintenance programs, safety inspections, and preventative maintenance schedules. Ensure the community, grounds, and equipment meet company standards and regulatory requirements. QualificationsRequired Minimum two (2) years of leadership experience in Assisted Living, Memory Care, Long-Term Care, or a related healthcare setting. Completion of the Wisconsin DHS 83 Administrator Course. Ability to meet all Wisconsin CBRF Administrator requirements. Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills. Experience managing staff, budgets, and regulatory compliance. Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel). Preferred Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Gerontology, Business Administration, Nursing, or a related field. Dementia care experience. Assisted living sales and marketing experience.
