Position Details:
This position plays a critical role in advancing student success and enhancing the Mayville State experience through the strategic oversight of residential communities and the development of a vibrant, welcoming student life environment. The role supports student well-being, fosters engagement, and promotes holistic development by combining effective residential operations, student support services, and collaborative programming. The position is instrumental in creating safe, welcoming, and engaging living-learning environments and providing meaningful co-curricular opportunities that complement the academic experience and promote personal growth, leadership, and responsible citizenship.
Key Responsibilities and Duties Include:
Oversee all housing operations, including applications, assignments, billing coordination, occupancy tracking, and accommodations (e.g., ESAs). Manage residence hall logistics such as openings/closings, room changes, key control, security systems, and facility maintenance. Recruit, train, supervise, and evaluate Resident Assistants and student staff. Lead community development efforts and support student engagement through programming and outreach initiatives. Manage programming budgets and ensure compliance with institutional and NDUS guidelines. Serve as a conduct hearing officer; enforce policies and manage conduct processes using systems like Maxient. Respond to crises and emergencies, providing student support and coordinating referrals to campus resources. Foster student success through collaboration, advising, and partnerships across campus departments and services. Maintain clear communication with leadership, support campus operations (including duty rotation and summer programs), and implement initiatives that enhance the student experience.

Demonstrate organization and time management skills. Ability to work successfully in a multi-cultural environment.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree Two years in a collegiate position working with student leadership development Proficient level of knowledge of

Problem Solving Preferred Qualifications:
