Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Shelter Services Manager to oversee the daily operations of our shelter. This individual will ensure that our mission and values are reflected in all aspects of service delivery while maintaining a safe, welcoming, and organized environment for residents and staff.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage the day-to-day operations of the shelter, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for all residents. Provide direct case management to shelter residents, assisting them in accessing community resources, employment, and stable housing. Supervise and support shelter staff and volunteers. Maintain accurate records and reports related to residents, services, and program outcomes. Collaborate with community partners, social service agencies, and housing programs to coordinate care and referrals. Ensure compliance with organizational policies, procedures, and funding requirements. Promote a culture of compassion, respect, and accountability within the shelter.
Preferred Qualifications:
Associate's degree or higher in Human Services, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field. Experience working with individuals experiencing homelessness or other vulnerable populations. Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and respond calmly in crisis situations. Demonstrated leadership and team management abilities.

$34,000.00 - $40,000.00 per year
