Job Description

Overview Join our dedicated team as a Housing Staff member and play a vital role in providing safe, supportive, and nurturing environments for individuals and families in need. In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for managing daily housing operations, ensuring client safety, and fostering a positive community atmosphere. Your proactive approach and compassionate communication will help residents thrive while maintaining compliance with housing regulations and program guidelines. Responsibilities Supervise daily activities within the housing facility, ensuring a secure and welcoming environment for residents Provide crisis intervention when necessary, de-escalating conflicts and addressing urgent safety concern Monitor security protocols, including access control, surveillance checks, and incident reporting Administer medication as prescribed, following proper documentation procedures Collect data on resident progress, maintain accurate records through data entry and filing, and support case management efforts Facilitate behavioral health and behavior management strategies to promote positive community interactions Coordinate with social work teams to connect residents with community resources and services Conduct regular safety checks, first aid when needed, and respond promptly to emergencies or incidents Requirements Supervising experience in residential or community settings preferred Strong crisis intervention skills with the ability to manage conflict effectively Excellent communication skills for engaging with residents, staff, and external partners Ability to perform data collection, data entry, filing, and maintain detailed records accurately First aid certification or willingness to obtain certification upon hire Familiarity with medication administration procedures following proper protocols Ability to handle sensitive situations with professionalism and compassion This role is ideal for motivated individuals passionate about supporting vulnerable populations through compassionate care, effective management, and community engagement.
