You would be a great fit if you have excelled in infectious disease-related courses while working towards a degree in Public Health, Informatics, Population Health, Global Health, Health Science, Health Education, and any other related majors, or if you can demonstrate an innate curiosity and passion for public health work. You will also have the opportunity to abstract medical records for perinatally exposed hepatitis C infants and develop a flowchart for reaching out to pediatricians in these instances. You will be coached and mentored by the Hepatitis C Epidemiology Program Manager, Patient Navigators/Investigators, Epidemiologist, and/or others on the team by collaborating with them on group projects. ? Knowledge of Google Workspace, including Google Sites, Forms, Docs, Sheets, Slides, and Drive. ? Knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint ? Time management, organization, planning and problem solving skills. ? Ability to troubleshoot and identify potential technical challenges. ? Tech savvy, creative, curious, persistent! ? Build skills in coding to understand real-world public health scenarios. ? Understanding of the importance of reaching out to providers to enact change for each patient in the case of a disease exposure. ? Collaboration with a diverse team of professionals.
