This vital role involves managing daily operations, developing engaging programs, and fostering a supportive environment for adults with developmental disabilities and behavioral health needs. The Program Director will serve as the primary leader in ensuring high-quality care, building strong relationships with clients, families, staff, and community partners, and maintaining compliance with all regulatory standards. Manage program operations efficiently by overseeing scheduling, resource allocation, and daily activities to promote engagement and well-being. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, families, healthcare providers, community organizations, and funding agencies to support participant success and program sustainability. Oversee administrative functions such as budgeting, record keeping, compliance documentation, and reporting to ensure adherence to all regulatory requirements. Develop innovative activities that promote socialization, skill-building, independence, and overall quality of life for program participants. Monitor behavioral health concerns proactively by implementing individualized care plans and collaborating with behavioral health specialists when necessary. Experience Proven management experience in program development or social services within adult care or related fields. Demonstrated success in supervising teams and managing staff performance effectively. Extensive experience working directly with individuals who have developmental disabilities or behavioral health needs. Strong relationship management skills to foster partnerships with families, community organizations, and healthcare providers. Knowledge of administrative practices including budgeting, record-keeping, compliance standards (such as state licensing requirements), and program management. Background in social work or behavioral health is highly desirable to support holistic participant care.
