This position will cultivate and maintain relationships with business and industry to ensure excellent customer service and build long term partnerships to better execute our workforce programs. Day to day support of customized training, development of a long term partnership, and reaching out to new companies will be required. This position will need a high degree of coordination internally between multiple departments. Job Duties Demonstrates IWCC's core mission, vision and values Execute and ensure compliance in the 260F and 260 E workforce training programs. Ensure good customer service to our businesses; strengthen long term relationships and build new relationships. Follow divisions customer service expectations. Coordinate with Continuing Education for customized training; proposals, tracking, billing and follow for the workforce training programs Conduct all necessary reports of
Iowa Jobs Training Programs:
260E and 260F Perform in a manner which strengthens the coordination and cooperation of all organizational components of the College, specially through continuing education and economic development departments Serve as a resource/reference/problem solver for custom training trainers and business customers, as well as students. Coordinate events with companies including tours, workshops, boards and other special projects Provide general office assistance to the department and VP of Business and Community Education. Other duties as assigned Qualifications Minimum two years of post-high school education with preferred 4 years in office setting Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability Strong organizational skills including the ability to multi-task, to meet deadlines, to maintain and access paper and electronic files, to produce error-free final products, and to manage time and output Excellent customer service skills required Proficient use in computers including Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM experience is preferred Ability to read, write and speak English fluently Enthusiastic and dedicated to the challenges of helping other people Ability to function collaboratively as part of a fast-paced, customer oriented team Professional in communications, appearance, relationships, and responsiveness Positive attitude Ability to maintain strict confidentiality at all times Self-starter with the ability to perform with little supervision Regular, prompt & reliable attendance Ability to pass a background check, have a valid U.S. driver's license and good driving record Physical Demands The employee frequently is required to sit for extended periods of time and use hands to operate computer keyboard, telephone and basic office equipment While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear Ability to drive company owned or personal vehicle.
