As a member of our Operations Management & Facilities Services (OMFS) team, you'll help deliver safe, reliable, and sustainable wastewater services that protect public health and the environment. We are seeking a Wastewater Plant Operations Manager based in Oklahoma City, OK , that will supervise the operation, repair, and maintenance of the Wastewater treatment plant facilities. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Diagnoses operating problems and directs effective correction procedures. Prepare required reports and maintain complete recordkeeping procedures. Analyzes recording instrument readings and laboratory test results and adjusts various plant processes accordingly. Inspects plant to determine efficiency of operations, cleanliness, and maintenance activities. Supervises and trains employees. Determines remedial action in emergencies. Prepares work schedules subject to approval of Project Manager Prepares reports and maintains records to approval of Project Manager Performs employee evaluations. Assists Project Manager in conducting ongoing safety program. Establishes and maintains cooperative relationships with those contacted during the course of work. Performs other duties as required. Oklahoma Class A Wastewater license. Possess a valid driver's license. Management Experience Ideally, You'll Also Have Bachelor's degree in environmental science/biology/chemistry/engineering Knowledge of the principles, methods, and tools employed in the general operation of engines, pumps, valves, motors, and related equipment; general maintenance work; safe work practices; principles and methods of biological and chemical analyses, effects and problems of industrial waste in water/wastewater treatment processes, principles of supervision and training; principles of budget preparation and expenditure control. Knowledge of computer software including but not limited to Hach Whims, CMMS, Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, data management systems and be able to operate plant PLC's and SCADA systems.
