$84,032 to $134,243 DOQ First review of applications: June 16, 2026. Lead Public Works in One of Northwest Indiana's Premier Communities The Town of Munster is seeking a strong leader and manager with solid technical skills to serve as its next Public Works Director of Operations. This is a rare opportunity to lead a full-service department in a thriving, highly regarded community just minutes from Chicago. Munster is known for exceptional public services, strong infrastructure, top-ranked schools, outstanding parks and recreation amenities, and a high quality of life. The next Director will play a key role in shaping the Town's future through strategic infrastructure planning, operational leadership, and community-focused service delivery. Why This Opportunity Stands Out Lead a department with approximately 47 employees across six divisions, including streets, water, sewer, stormwater, sanitation (private firm), and traffic control.
