Job Description

Director of Economic Development We're looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Director of Economic Development to help our community grow. In this role, you'll work to bring new businesses to the area, support existing businesses, and build strong partnerships throughout the community. You'll help create new opportunities, encourage economic growth, and make a lasting impact on the region. What You'll Do Create and carry out plans to help grow the local economy. Build relationships with businesses, government agencies, community groups, and other partners. Recruit new businesses and encourage investment in the community. Promote the area through marketing and outreach efforts. Work with different teams to keep projects moving smoothly. Negotiate agreements with businesses and partners. Lead and support staff involved in economic development projects. Stay up to date on market trends and look for new opportunities to grow the local economy. What We're Looking For Experience in economic development preferred, but a willingness to learn and grow in the position is equally valued. A track record of building relationships and helping businesses grow. Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills. Experience with marketing, project management, and strategic planning. Comfortable working with community leaders, business owners, and government officials. Why Join Us? Pay:
$40,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
