Job Description

The Director, Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) supports the organization's budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning processes and provides financial and operational analysis to help inform leadership decision-making. This role works in partnership with the Chief Financial Officer (CFO), Controller, and program leaders to support timely reporting, performance monitoring, and financial oversight of contracts and agreements. The Director, Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) helps ensure that Northeast Arc's resources are aligned to advance its mission of empowering people with disabilities to live, learn, work, and fully participate in their communities. Key Responsibilities Lead and support the annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning processes in alignment with organizational priorities. Develop and maintain recurring management reports, dashboards, and month-end reporting packages to support review of trends, risks, and variances. Partner with the Controller and finance team to support alignment between financial plans and actual results, including month-end processes and key accruals. Provide financial oversight for state and government-funded contracts and other agreements, including support for budgeting, forecasting, and revenue recognition considerations. Monitor contract-related financial performance and support risk management activities by reviewing reimbursement accuracy, utilization, and variance to budget. Translate financial and operational information into clear insights and presentations for leadership and stakeholders. Perform other related duties as assigned. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, business, or a related field. At least 10 years of progressively responsible experience in FP&A, strategic finance, or related roles, including experience leading teams. Knowledge of GAAP and financial practices, including experience in a not-for-profit environment. Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills; experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI). Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines with attention to detail. Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders across the organization. Sound judgment, integrity, and discretion. Experience with fee-for-service financial models preferred Scheduled Hours Monday through Friday 8 am - 4 pm Target Salary The approximate pay range for this role $130,000 - $150,000 annually. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be dependent on factors, including but not limited to, the individual's experience, education, and internal equity.
