We are now seeking a skilled Municipal Infrastructure Regional Manager for the Northern New England region to organize, plan and control municipal infrastructure project activities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hydraulic design and civil engineering, particularly within water and wastewater systems, and will be responsible for ensuring projects meet regulatory requirements and quality standards.
Lead technical and client-facing delivery for municipal infrastructure projects across Northern New England. The Regional Manager will direct project teams, develop business with cities and towns, and ensure high-quality engineering solutions for wastewater, water, stormwater and related civil infrastructure. This role combines technical leadership in civil engineering and wastewater systems with project and client management to grow and sustain regional municipal programs.

Key ResponsibilitiesServe as regional lead for municipal infrastructure projects (wastewater, water distribution, stormwater, utilities), coordinating multiple projects and teams across Northern New England.
Provide engineering oversight and quality control for design deliverables, drawings and construction documents prepared in Civil 3D and AutoCAD.Manage project lifecycle from feasibility and master planning through permitting, construction document development, bidding, and construction support.
Lead technical design for wastewater treatment, pump stations, collection systems, water distribution, drainage systems, and related municipal facilities.
Perform and supervise hydraulic and hydrology modeling, cost estimation, and feasibility analyses to support project decisions.
Prepare and review scopes, schedules, budgets, proposals, and contracts; track financial performance against goals.
Build and maintain strong client relationships with municipal clients, regulators, and stakeholders; serve as primary point of contact for regional municipal accounts.
Drive business development activities in the region, pursue leads, prepare proposals, and support pursuit strategies to grow municipal work.
Mentor, supervise, and develop engineering staff through training, performance feedback, and project assignments.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, permit conditions, and industry best practices; promote safety and quality on all projects.
Coordinate with permitting agencies, contractors, subconsultants and internal discipline leads to resolve technical and schedule challenges.
Represent the firm at community meetings, public hearings, and professional forums to advocate for projects and company capabilities.
QualificationsBachelor of Science in Civil Engineering (Masters preferred) and current Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
Minimum 812 years of progressive civil/municipal infrastructure experience with demonstrated leadership of municipal projects and teams.
Demonstrated expertise in wastewater systems, including treatment, collection, pump stations, and associated design and permitting.
Proven project management experience delivering municipal engineering projects on schedule and on budget; strong financial and contract management skills.
Proficiency in Civil 3D required; strong experience generating, reviewing, and QA/QCing construction documents.

Ability and willingness to travel frequently within Northern New England and to represent the company at regional meetings.
Valid drivers license and ability to visit project sites.
Experience with public procurement, funding sources (grants, SRF, loans), and municipal budgeting is a plus.
