Permanent Full-Time, Non-Exempt Applications for one full-time truck driver position at the Rumford Public Works Department will be accepted until the position is filled. Applicants must have a valid Maine Class A or CDL and a minimum of one year's experience operating "tractor-trailer" • configuration commercial motor vehicles (•combination vehicle as defined by

MRSA 29-A

§101). Primary duties of the position are to transport solid waste trailers from the Northern Oxford Regional Solid Waste Board facility in Mexico to the Waste Management Norridgewock Landfill. Opportunities for overtime shifts and snow-clearing may be available. Opportunities and advancement into other Rumford Public Works positions is subject to collective bargaining terms and conditions. Successful candidates for this position must be self-motivated with the ability to work on tasks independently. Must be able to lift, move and/or push equipment which may weigh 100+ lbs. Candidate is required to perform heavy manual labor under varying weather conditions for long periods of time.
