At Helix, housing is part of healthcare. We're looking for a Supportive Housing Director to lead and grow a large-scale Housing Support (GRH) program serving individuals experiencing homelessness, behavioral health challenges, and housing instability. This position combines leadership, program development, housing operations, and community-based behavioral health work into one role. Opportunity to help shape and grow expanding housing programs Community-based, relationship-focused work instead of corporate bureaucracy Collaborative leadership environment with room for innovation and new ideas Culturally grounded agency with programming, ceremonies, and community events What you'll actually be doing Provide leadership and oversight for a large, multi-layered supportive housing program Supervise 2 program managers who oversee: 9 case managers supporting approximately 250+ active housing clients Oversee a housing administration team of 5 staff responsible for housing benefits processing and program operations Lead program operations across housing services, case management, and administrative functions Develop and improve workflows, policies, and systems that strengthen housing stability outcomes Respond to complex barriers including behavioral health challenges, crises, and housing retention issues Coordinate with behavioral health providers, tribal partners, and community stakeholders Ensure program quality, compliance, documentation, and reporting standards are met Support program growth, expansion, and development of new housing initiatives What makes this role different Most housing leadership roles focus only on units, leases, and compliance.
