  • Full-time About Accola Accola is a nonprofit rooted in the legacy of the Sisters of St.
Joseph of Carondelet, carrying forward generations of work in education, housing, and justice across the Twin Cities. Our three programs — Learning In Style School, Sarah's… an Oasis for Women, and Wisdom Ways Center for Spirituality — each serve a distinct community, united by the same values of dignity, justice, and care. About the Role Since 1996, Sarah's… an Oasis for Women has been a place of safety, dignity, and transformation for immigrant women healing from trauma, violence, and displacement. The program serves up to thirty women at a time in a 24/7 transitional residential setting, supporting residents from more than a dozen countries as they rebuild their lives, pursue asylum, and find their footing in a new home. The Director of Sarah's is the senior leader of the program — responsible for operational integrity, staff development, resident community health, budget stewardship, and governance alignment. This is a role for someone who builds things that last: teams, systems, relationships, and community standards that hold even when they are not in the room. What You'll Do Lead the Program Oversee all aspects of residential operations in a 24/7 trauma-informed setting Lead or authorize all move-in approvals, resident agreement extensions, and dismissal decisions Ensure program compliance with DOJ accreditation, funder requirements, and Accola organizational standards Maintain program policies and systems in alignment with Accola organizational policies Lead the Team Hire, develop, and support a skilled team of residential and legal services staff Foster a team culture rooted in trauma-informed care, accountability, and belonging Conduct regular supervision and annual performance reviews Lead Operations Hold full ownership of the Sarah's budget, operating within Accola Finance frameworks Oversee DOJ-accredited immigration legal services with integrity and clear scope Contribute to Accola's Senior Leadership Team and organization-wide strategy Who You Are You have significant experience working with immigrant, refugee, and asylum-seeking women, and you bring deep cultural humility and a trauma-informed lens to everything you do. You have led in residential or 24/7 community-services environments and you know how to build systems and teams that provide consistent, dignified care. You are entrepreneurial, donor-confident, and grounded in a genuine commitment to justice. Five or more years of progressively responsible management experience Experience leading in residential, housing-based, or 24/7 community services settings Demonstrated success leading multilingual, multicultural teams and communities Strong skills in policy development, documentation, and organizational systems management Familiarity with DOJ-accredited immigration legal services preferred Commitment to Accola's mission and the communities Sarah's serves Compensation & Benefits This is a full-time, site-based position. Salary range is $95,000
  • 100,000, commensurate with experience.
