How you'll contribute The Market Director of Finance is responsible for overseeing all financial operations for two inpatient rehabilitation hospitals. This includes budget planning, financial reporting, audit management, and driving departmental efficiency aligned with organizational goals. Essential Functions Oversee all financial operations, including budgeting, projections, accounts receivable, month-end close, and financial reporting. Develop and implement departmental goals, plans, and standards consistent with legal, ethical, clinical, and administrative requirements. Direct and evaluate departmental operations, including patient care support, IT systems, service levels, and complaint resolution. Plan and monitor staffing activities including hiring, orientation, evaluation, disciplinary actions, and continuing education. Prepare, monitor, and evaluate departmental budgets, ensuring compliance with financial targets. Coordinate and lead internal and external audits. Create and foster a professional environment that supports staff development. Perform other duties as assigned. Additional Information Requires strong leadership in healthcare financial management, staffing, and compliance. Education:
Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred; equivalent work experience may be substituted.
Skills:
Business Mathematics:
Proficient in calculations involving fractions, percentages, rates, and interpreting graphs.
Computer Skills:
Moderate proficiency in email, spreadsheets, word processing, and business software.
Communication:
Capable of handling complex communication and interacting with senior leadership.
Problem Solving:
Able to assess and solve varied and complex business challenges using precedent and judgment.
