Job Description

The Springfield-Greene County Health Department is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Public Health Program Representative to support our community and its workforce! Here are some of the key components you would be working on: Onboarding
  • work with public health programs to ensure new employees are onboarded and trained in public health and the department. Employee training
  • work with public health programs to develop, implement and ensure quality employee training. Employee recognition and retention
  • develop approaches to celebrate department employees, recognizing their contribution to community health and build a positive workplace culture. Talent pipeline development
  • engage with partners to develop meaningful engagements for future employees.
We are seeking an applicant that is familiar with community workforce needs, public and private agencies, and employment services. Don't forget to check out our incredible benefits ! Experience, Education, and Training Requires graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor's Degree in Biological Sciences, Public Administration, Social Services, Health Services, Behavioral Sciences or a related area; AND Two years of professional or technical experience in public health; A Master's Degree in a discipline indicated above may be substituted for one year of the required experience; Some assignments may require previous supervisory experience; Some assignments may require significant data management and analysis work experience; Experience needs to be commensurate with the current vacancy.
