Position Summary Information Responsibilities Program Oversight & Implementation - 35% Lead the creation, implementation, and amendments of all work plans and budgets. Lead and manage the day-to-day implementation of GEAR UP work plan activities across multiple school sites. Ensure programming aligns with federal objectives, institutional goals, and local school needs. Identify and address challenges to service delivery across sites. Staff Supervision & Development - 30% Supervise and support Program Coordinators, including providing professional development and coaching. Facilitate regular weekly meetings to ensure cohesive implementation and staff alignment. Lead onboarding and ongoing professional development for district staff. Promote a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Data, Evaluation & Reporting - 15% Manage data collection and ensure compliance with evaluation protocols and Performance Measures. Use reports and analysis to evaluate data trends and guide Program Coordinators in making data-informed decisions. Assist in preparing monthly report cards, quarterly reports, annual reports, success stories, and site visit documentation. Compliance & Fiscal Management - 15% Ensure program activities comply with federal GEAR UP regulations and internal policies. Assist with monitoring expenditures for allowability, allocability, necessity, and reasonability. Collaborate with grants and finance teams on audits, fiscal reporting, and compliance reviews. •Partnership Development & Communication - 5% Represent GEAR UP at events, meetings, and strategic planning sessions. Support initiatives and outreach activities to increase program visibility and impact. Qualifications
REQUIRED
Master's degree in education or related field, 3-5 years of education leadership in education, 3-5 years in non-profit management, or a combination thereof. Prior experience must include responsibilities related to the major areas of grant administration including a proven record of success with managing and evaluating the design, development and coordination of projects, participation in committees and/or task forces designed to improve the quality of service/education to students and staff, organizing training programs, professional development workshops and conferences, evaluation and assessment of short and long term goals, supervision and completing comprehensive reports related to programming and services as required by federal agencies. Ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written formats Interpersonal skills; organizational and typing skills Ability to work and maintain confidential information Ability to relate to diverse age and demographic backgrounds Demonstrates a strong work ethic, integrity, punctuality, quality work, pleasant attitude, positive, self-starter, open to new & different perspectives Knowledge and proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel, with experience in and formatting formulas Ability to learn and retain new tasks quickly and expand that knowledge frequently Ability to learn new software quickly and comfort with technology Demonstrated experience presenting information to small and large groups Strong organizational skills and independent work initiative Evidence of effective problem solving, decision making, and time management skills Demonstrates proactive approach in identifying problems Evidence of flexibility, willingness to change, open-mindedness, fairness, accepting responsibility and personal growth Salary Commensurate with experience, qualifications, and university's resources. PREFERRED
At least 5 years of experience in educational programming, college access, or youth development.
