Your Role:
Driving Excellence in Autism Services As the Director of Mariposa Autism Services, you will oversee all aspects of autism programming, clinical operations, staff leadership, quality assurance, strategic planning, and community engagement. You will serve as a key organizational leader responsible for ensuring high-quality, evidence-based services while supporting the growth and sustainability of the program. This role requires a visionary leader who can balance clinical excellence, operational effectiveness, staff development, and community advocacy. Key Responsibilities Program Leadership & Development Develop, implement, and oversee comprehensive autism services aligned with best practices and organizational goals. Ensure individualized, evidence-based treatment approaches for children and families served by the program. Evaluate program effectiveness and implement continuous quality improvements. Team Leadership & Staff Development Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary team of clinicians, therapists, educators, and support staff. Recruit, develop, and retain high-performing team members. Foster a positive culture of accountability, collaboration, and professional growth. Strategic Planning & Operations Develop and execute strategic initiatives that support program expansion and long-term sustainability. Manage program resources and budgets effectively. Identify funding opportunities and support organizational growth efforts. Community Engagement & Advocacy Build strong partnerships with healthcare providers, schools, community organizations, and government agencies. Advocate for individuals with autism and their families. Lead outreach initiatives designed to increase awareness, education, and access to services. Quality Assurance & Compliance Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations, accreditation standards, and ethical guidelines. Establish quality assurance measures that support exceptional service delivery. Utilize data and outcomes to guide decision-making and program improvements. Family Support Support families through education, advocacy, and resource navigation. Promote family-centered practices that empower caregivers and strengthen outcomes for children. What We Are Looking For (Requirements) Education Master's degree or higher in Psychology, Special Education, Applied Behavior Analysis, or a related field required. Certifications BCBA, BCBA-D, or other related clinical credentials required. Experience Extensive experience (5+ years) in a leadership role within autism services or related fields, demonstrating progressively increasing responsibilities. Demonstrated success managing multidisciplinary teams and complex service delivery programs. Knowledge & Skills Strong understanding of evidence-based autism interventions and treatment models. Experience with program development, quality improvement, and strategic planning. Excellent communication, collaboration, and relationship-building skills. Knowledge of applicable regulatory, compliance, and ethical standards. Physical Requirements This position requires the ability to: Lift and carry materials weighing up to 40 pounds on an occasional basis. Stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, and reach throughout the workday. Travel locally for meetings, community outreach, and program-related activities.
