Key Responsibilities for the
Accounting Manager, Housing & Real Estate:
  • Lead accounting, financial reporting, consolidations, and compliance across housing and real estate entities.
  • Oversee audits, tax filings, lender reporting, and regulatory compliance requirements.
  • Support financial analysis and advisory activities related to development projects, acquisitions, and refinancing.
  • Manage budgeting, forecasting, reserve tracking, and portfolio performance reporting.
  • Serve as the primary financial liaison to third-party property management firms and external stakeholders.
  • Supervise finance staff and drive process improvements, reporting standardization, and internal control enhancements.
Qualifications for the
Accounting Manager, Housing & Real Estate:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Progressive accounting or finance experience with leadership responsibilities.
  • Strong experience with multi-entity financial reporting, audits, consolidations, and GAAP compliance.
  • Experience with affordable housing, LIHTC, LPs, LLCs, joint ventures, or nonprofit real estate structures is highly desirable.
