Job Description

Fiscal Manager Under general direction, supervises, coordinates, and monitors fiscal operations of a City Division or Department. Prepares budget and financial statements. Performs other job-related duties as required.

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Business, or related field from an accredited four-year college or university required. Five years of full-time paid experience in an Accounting-related field required. Two years of full-time supervisory experience (which may or may not be included in the five years accounting experience required). Must be proficient in Microsoft Office. Valid State of Ohio Driver's License required. Must be able to lift and carry a minimum of 30 pounds. Assists in managing, planning, coordinating and administering fiscal operations. Ensure the integrity of all financial activity. Oversee cash receipts. Work with City data team to develop, debug, enhance accounts receivables, financial reports. Ensure accurate and timely processing of receipts. Maintain revenue and expense records. Prepare statistical financial reports. Plan, manage, coordinate, administer legislative, purchasing, budgeting, IT functions as well as any additional areas determined to be necessary for the efficient operation of the Division. Supervise administrative staff responsible for fiscal operation. Create for review and implement approved administrative policy. Preferred Qualifications Five years of fulltime paid, progressively responsible management experience in finance and or budget management.
