As the top leader, you will oversee all operational, programmatic, and administrative functions, ensuring the delivery of high-quality services to individuals with developmental disabilities and underserved communities. Your leadership will inspire staff, foster strong community relationships, and promote organizational growth while maintaining compliance with all regulatory standards. This role offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact through innovative program development and dedicated team management. Responsibilities Provide strategic direction and leadership to ensure the organization's mission is fulfilled effectively and efficiently. Oversee program development, ensuring services meet the needs of individuals with disabilities and align with best practices in social services. Manage relationships with clients, families, community partners, funders, and stakeholders to strengthen collaborations and promote organizational visibility. Supervise senior staff and program managers, fostering a positive work environment that encourages professional growth and accountability. Oversee budgeting processes, financial planning, and resource allocation to sustain organizational stability and growth. Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and funding requirements related to social services and behavioral health programs. Lead staff supervision for social service program staff, including hiring, training, performance evaluations, and ongoing support. Develop policies and procedures that promote operational excellence while maintaining high standards of client care and safety. Oversee administrative functions such as reporting, documentation, client communication, and data management using tools like Microsoft Office Suite. Drive continuous improvement initiatives by evaluating program outcomes and implementing innovative solutions to enhance service delivery. Experience Proven experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or behavioral health needs in a social services setting. Demonstrated leadership in social services administration with experience managing teams of social work or behavioral health professionals. Strong relationship management skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders from underserved communities. Extensive supervisory experience in supervising staff involved in social service programs or community outreach initiatives. Experience in program development, implementation, and evaluation within a nonprofit or government agency context. Administrative expertise including budgeting, compliance oversight, and writing detailed reports for funders or regulatory bodies. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications for documentation, communication, and data analysis purposes. Bilingual skills are highly desirable to better serve diverse populations; familiarity with social work principles is essential. Leadership qualities that demonstrate strategic thinking, adaptability, cultural competence, and a passion for social justice initiatives.
