NEW SCHOOL
in our Philadelphia, PA location located at 3240 North Hancock Street, Philadelphia, PA 19140
Salary:
up to $90,000 DOE The Education Director is the operational leader of the school and will ensure program regulations and best practices are implemented, managed and maintained. This role will be responsible to provide ongoing administrative, educational, and clinical program direction in development, program evaluation, and program planning. This position will be responsible for maintaining all educational state mandates as outlined for licensure.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for endorsing Merakey Core Values throughout daily program operations Oversees the profit and loss for program(s) Manages daily operation of program(s) Ensures contractual requirements and Merakey policies, procedures and best practices are met Implements policies/procedures as directed Ensure compliance to state, local, federal, and contract requirements as well as requirements from state education agencies and payors Build and maintain positive stakeholder relationships, both internal and external Responsible for fidelity of educational and clinical components of program Maintains HIPAA and FERPA guidelines in all aspects of work environment Benefits Merakey offers generous benefits that promote well-being, financial security, and work-life balance, including: Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage, plus access to healthcare advocacy support. Requirements:
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications: Masters Degree in Special Education or education degree with Supervisory Certificate. Principle Certificate preferred Bilingual (Spanish) preferred
