About Us:

We are a growing animal rescue organization dedicated to saving, rehabilitating, and rehoming animals in need. After establishing a strong presence in Illinois, we are expanding into Wisconsin and are seeking a dedicated and organized leader to oversee operations in the state.

Position Summary:

The Wisconsin Director of Operations will be responsible for managing and coordinating all administrative and operational aspects of our rescue efforts within Wisconsin. This is a fully remote position requiring strong organizational, communication, and digital management skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee all administrative operations for Wisconsin-based rescue activities Develop, manage, and maintain the organization's website Create and manage social media accounts to promote adoptable animals, events, and fundraising efforts Process and review adoption applications, including conducting screenings and coordinating approvals Maintain accurate records of animals, adopters, fosters, and volunteers Coordinate with foster families, volunteers, and partner organizations Assist with planning and promoting adoption events and initiative Serve as the primary point of contact for Wisconsin-based inquiries and operations

Qualifications:

Must reside in Wisconsin Must pass a background check (no criminal history) Experience in animal rescue, nonprofit work, or administrative management preferred Strong organizational and multitasking skills Experience with website management (e.g., Wix, WordPress, or similar platforms) Proficiency in social media management (Facebook, Instagram, etc.) Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting Passion for animal welfare and rescue work

Preferred Skills:

Experience reviewing adoption applications or conducting interviews Basic graphic design or content creation skills Familiarity with volunteer coordination
