Job Description

About us Columbia Housing and Redevelopment Corporation mission is to provide outstanding affordable housing and redevelopment services to improve the quality of life of our residents and the community. The Affordable Housing Manager is responsible for meeting the needs of residents, preparing reports of activities and fiscal status, monitoring the properties operating practices and procedures along with achieving the goal of providing outstanding affordable housing services for our community. Additionally, the affordable housing professional is responsible for overseeing overall management, operations, admissions, and annual regulatory compliance of three (3) Section 8 Multifamily and Tax Credit properties comprised of 295 apartments in the CHRC portfolio. Bachelor's degree in Business, Public Administration, or Social Sciences from an accredited college or university preferred. We prefer at least five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in management or in an administrative capacity in property management or low-income housing, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience resulting in the ability to fulfill the essential job duties of the position. Must possess or obtain Certified Housing Manager, Tax Credit Specialist, Fair Housing, and other HUD certifications. A candidate with relevant experience using Yardi Property Management Software for management, occupancy, and rent collection success preferred.
