Respond with Compassionate Action We are seeking a Health & Nutrition Manager to join our International Projects team in Eastern Sudan . Through humanitarian work, the goal and purpose of Samaritan's Purse are to help people in Jesus name and share the Gospel of Jesus Christ. In the role of Health & Nutrition Manager, you will have the opportunity to: Maintain your personal relationship with Jesus Christ and be an effective witness for Him. Coordinates with Ministry of Health and other health & nutrition partners to implement project activities in line with MOH and WHO clinical protocols Leads and coordinates the Samaritan's Purse and support Ministry of Health clinical professional teams Collaborates with Samaritan's Purse International Health Unit during the entire program implementation Develops program proposals, Log frames and budgets Develops educational materials and outreach campaigns aligning with Ministry of Health materials Addresses and manages emerging health and nutrition emergency crises per needs of project location Directly supervises five to eight supervisory employees. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with Samaritan's Purse policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems All other duties as assigned. What are the qualifications? Serve with Excellence As a qualified candidate, you will have the following skills and experience: Bachelors of Science Degree in Nursing (BSN) and Masters in Public Health (MPH) and five (5) years of experience in managing health programs in the NGO sector; or equivalent com Experience in technical report writing. Experience working in remote and austere conditions. Thorough knowledge of Health and Nutrition best practices. Working knowledge of inventory management and distribution best practices, Monitoring and Evaluation and Program Management Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals Ability to write routine reports and correspondence Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization. Twelve credit hours of college-level Biblical Studies preferred, not required What are the benefits?
