THE CITY OF WACO SEEKS
A Chief Economic Development Officer (CEDO) to direct the functions of Economic Development (ED). This multifaceted position requires a visionary leader with a strategic mindset, exceptional management skills, and a passion for promoting and facilitating economic development to enhance the city's economic health and vitality. Waco is seeking a seasoned economic development professional with strong technical knowledge, mature judgment, and the interpersonal skill to operate successfully in a relationship-driven community.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in planning, Social Sciences, Business, Public Administration, or a related field and 7 years' experience in community development and regulatory program management; OR an equivalent combination of education and experience. Valid Texas Driver's License .
