Monneus Group LLC Position Overview Monneus Group LLC is seeking a Senior Congressional Support & Outreach Specialist to support senior Department of the Air Force leadership with legislative engagement, strategic communications, congressional preparation, stakeholder outreach, and executive-level written products. This position requires a strong communicator who understands government operations, congressional engagement, senior leader preparation, and high-visibility written communication. Key Responsibilities Support congressional engagement planning, legislative outreach, and senior leader preparation. Develop briefing books, read-aheads, talking points, testimony support, issue papers, and executive correspondence. Track congressional inquiries, legislative priorities, stakeholder engagements, and follow-up actions. Support preparation for hearings, briefings, office calls, engagements, and senior-level meetings. Draft, edit, and review speeches, articles, correspondence, strategic messaging, and outreach materials. Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate products. Maintain engagement calendars, stakeholder trackers, and action item logs. Support strategic communications and outreach planning. Review products for accuracy, message alignment, formatting, and professional quality. Ensure all work remains advisory and support-oriented, with final decisions and official positions retained by Government leadership. Required Qualifications Active Secret clearance . Senior-level experience supporting DoD, Federal, congressional, legislative affairs, public affairs, strategic communications, or executive support functions. Strong writing, editing, research, and communication skills. Experience preparing senior leaders for engagements, briefings, meetings, or external stakeholder interactions. Ability to develop executive-level products under tight deadlines. Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple high-visibility priorities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, and task tracking tools. Preferred Qualifications Experience supporting congressional affairs, legislative liaison, public affairs, or strategic communications. Experience supporting SAF, HAF, Pentagon, or senior Air Force organizations. Familiarity with TMT, ETMS2, or similar task management systems. Experience drafting testimony, talking points, hearing prep materials, legislative summaries, or stakeholder engagement plans. Background in policy, communications, political science, government affairs, public administration, or national security. Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate is a polished, detail-oriented communicator who can prepare senior leaders for high-stakes engagements, produce clean written products, and manage congressional or stakeholder-related actions with professionalism and discretion. This role requires strong judgment, responsiveness, and the ability to operate in a high-tempo headquarters environment.
