You'll help tell the story of the largest naval base in the world — developing publications, managing media products, and supporting the command's public-facing communications on a long-term, mission-critical Navy program. What You'll Do Research, write, and edit publications, releases, and command communications to AP Stylebook and U.S. Navy Style Guide standards Produce professional photography, video, and audio content supporting command public affairs products Develop and edit content using Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Audition, Premiere) Support podcast production and other multimedia public affairs deliverables Coordinate public affairs products with command leadership and apply working knowledge of the shipbuilding/ship-repair industry What You Bring Bachelor's degree in communications, political science, or English 2+ years developing, writing, and editing publications in a professional or military public affairs setting Working knowledge of AP Stylebook and U.S. Navy Style Guide Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Audition, Premiere) Professional photography, video, and audio production experience U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain a DoD SECRET security clearance Preferred Active DoD SECRET clearance Prior military or DoD public affairs experience (Navy MC rating, DoD civilian public affairs background) Familiarity with the naval shipbuilding or ship-repair industry Podcast production experience Why FalconTek FalconTek is a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business of roughly 600 professionals supporting defense and national security missions nationwide.
