As health care activists, we are dedicated to making sure individuals who do not have health coverage get the same level of quality healthcare as those who have it As a Materials Specialist I you will be working in all of the Materials Management functions which include the mailroom, stockroom and purchasing. Your core responsibilities will include reviewing incoming materials requests; maintain filing systems for internal requests and vendor transactions, and pulling items from stockroom while ensuring proper inventory levels. You will be able to use your passion for technology by creating or inputting purchase orders on the purchasing computer system, maintaining an accurate inventory and running reports through the purchasing computer system. You will have an opportunity to use your excellent communication and customer service skills by answering phones and providing answers or redirecting calls to the appropriate person. Your organization and time management skills, efficiency, attention to detail will ensure that you can make a positive contribution in our fast paced environment.
