Purchasing Assistant

POSITION SUMMARY

Decoral is seeking a responsible individual to join our team with experience purchasing goods and inventory management for a wholesale and distributing company.

WORKING HOURS

Monday - Friday 8:30am - 5:30pm

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

Strong verbal, math, reading, and writing skills. Ability to follow instructions in both verbal and written forms. Able to learn fast and be cross trained. Possess friendly and positive attitude. Strong problem solving and negotiating skills. Self-starter, motivated and organized. Knowledge of Word, Excel and Outlook. Ability to Multi-task, organize and prioritize work. Maintain positive and professional attitude internally and externally at all times. Bilingual English/Spanish fluency is required.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Research potential products, vendors, services. Compare prices and item specs to ensure best option. Generate Purchase Orders. Interact with warehouse teams to ensure goods are received correctly. Initiate and maintain positive relationships with Vendors and Suppliers. Review and enter purchase receipt documents in the system.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

College Degree preferred.

EXPERIENCE

• Minimum of 2 years procurement / purchasing experience.
• Experience in qualifying suppliers and vendors.
• Experience in managing inventory levels.
• Experience with budgets and forecasts.

$22.00 - $24.00 per hour
