• Temporary Job Summary We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Temporary Purchasing Assistant to join our dynamic procurement team.

In this role, you will work closely with the purchasing manager to assist in all functions of purchasing to include procurement of all direct and indirect materials; including raw materials, supplies, parts, etc., in a timely fashion. Also work closely with the inventory manager to assist with Bills of Material and other computer system inputs, needed to create new products and maintain accurate inventory Duties Procurement of direct and indirect materials Enter, expedite, and track Purchase Orders Enter and transfer receiving into Macola and produce receiving reports Establish vendor relationships Assist Engineering department with material issues for Research & Development Qualifications Strong understanding of materials management, inventory control, procurement processes, and supply chain management principles. Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
