Job Description
Turn Your Classroom Knowledge Into Real-World Experience! The City of Longwood is looking for a 2027 Spring Semester, Purchasing Intern, who is curious, organized, ready to learn, and interested in seeing how local government works behind the scenes. This is an unpaid internship. You'll get hands-on exposure to public purchasing, vendor research, contracts, solicitations, project tracking, and procurement processes while working alongside City professionals. What You'll Gain Real-world government experience Exposure to purchasing and contracting Experience with vendors, projects, reports, and bid openings Opportunities to strengthen your communication, organization, and critical-thinking skills A chance to learn and have some fun along the way!
