Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Purchaser to support procurement operations for a Contract position based in Methuen, Massachusetts. This role focuses on coordinating purchasing activities, maintaining accurate order flow, and working closely with internal teams and external vendors to help ensure materials and services are available when needed. The ideal candidate brings strong organizational skills, sound judgment, and the ability to manage purchasing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
  • Create, review, and process purchase orders while ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timely follow-through.
  • Coordinate day-to-day procurement activities to support departmental purchasing needs and maintain continuity of supply.
  • Communicate with vendors to confirm pricing, availability, delivery schedules, and service expectations.
  • Track order status and resolve purchasing issues proactively to minimize delays and operational disruption.
  • Maintain organized purchasing records and documentation in alignment with internal department procedures.
  • Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to clarify requirements and support efficient buying decisions.
  • Monitor routine purchasing transactions and help identify opportunities to improve consistency and service levels.
