Role :

Cook Mfg Company is a family-owned company that manufactures industrial equipment. We are currently seeking a full-time purchaser to join our team in Paris Michigan.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities :

Order, track and trace any and all inventory. Communicate with management to resolve any inventory issues. Communicate with suppliers over the phone and email. Be able to work with the suppliers be get the best pricing available. Other duties as needed.

Qualifications:

Knowledge of QuickBooks. Experience with accounts payables or receivables. Exceptional time management and verbal and written communication skills. Professional manner and strong ethical code. Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office Products) Customer service orientation and negotiation skills. High degree of accuracy and attention to detail. Ability to multi-task and prioritize. Strong Interpersonal and communication skills

Requirements:

High School Diploma / GED Associate degree in business administration or accounting is preferred. Previous experience using QuickBooks is required.

$17.50 to $22.00 / hour
