- Full-time Position Summary The Finance and Purchasing Associate supports the day-to-day financial and procurement operations of Profielnorm USA.
This role is responsible for accounts payable, accounts receivable, financial recordkeeping, transaction processing, and assisting with month-end close activities, while also managing purchasing processes, supplier relationships, inventory-related transactions, and production scheduling support. Key responsibilities include issuing purchase orders, maintaining supplier and pricing information, processing goods receipts, tracking incoming deliveries, supporting stock counts, and assisting with the scheduling of core product lines. The Finance and Purchasing Associate also provides administrative support to the Managing Director and contributes to the efficient operation of a fast-paced manufacturing environment through strong organization, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities. Key Responsibilities
- Process vendor invoices and verify accuracy, coding, and approvals.
- Prepare and process payments to vendors.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies.
- Maintain vendor records and supporting documentation.
- Assist with monitoring outstanding payables and payment schedules.
- Create and issue purchase orders in accordance with approved budgets, inventory requirements and production schedules.
- Process and reconcile goods receipts accurately to ensure timely inventory updates and financial recordkeeping.
- Research, evaluate and identify potential suppliers to support cost, quality and service objectives.
- Maintain accurate product pricing, supplier information and item descriptions within the ERP system.
- Coordinate with suppliers to obtain order acknowledgements and proactively monitor delivery schedules.
- Collaborate with operations, production and finance teams to ensure material availability and efficient inventory levels.
- Provide general administrative and operational support as needed to support business objectives. Qualifications
- Associate's degree preferred
- Excellent organization and communication skills
- Experience in working with Excel/Microsoft Office
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Strong work ethic, positive attitude, integrity and self-discipline
