Working Location:
Woodlands Job Responsibilities Responsible for the purchasing function. Check purchasing documents to ensure correctness and adequacy. Prepare, issue and monitor requisitions and purchase orders, ensuring purchase order balances are accurate and parts are provided on time. Follow up on purchases to ensure timely delivery. Collect and check delivery performance of automotive vendors. Maintain and update the approved vendor list. Recommend quality improvement measures to immediate superior. Prepare material plans. Work closely with other departments to ensure quality parts are delivered and to maintain continuous material flow according to production requirements. Visit suppliers when needed to verify and check any problems or issues related to delivery. Coordinate and act as a mediator between suppliers and planners regarding forecast and delivery plans, according to customer-required quantity and schedule.
