This is a starting position with room for advancement. Responsibilities
  • Evaluate, qualify and meet with existing and new suppliers
  • Coordinate outside services (paint, plate, etc.)
  • Evaluate production schedule and expedite as necessary to ensure material is available when needed.
  • Source material required for new products
  • Negotiate pricing and assist estimating to develop competitive bids
  • Coordinate supplier returns and quality issues.
  • Support other departments with any purchasing related items Qualifications
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Accurate and detail oriented
  • Communication and interpersonal skills
  • 0 to 1 years work experience in Purchasing or related career
  • Preferred
  • Experience in metal procurement

  • Degree or training in business or related discipline Compensation & Benefits
  • Hourly position $20.00
  • 22.00/hour depending on experience
  • 40 Hours of PTO year 1, 80 hours of PTO year 2
  • 8 Paid Holidays Annually
