- Evaluate, qualify and meet with existing and new suppliers
- Coordinate outside services (paint, plate, etc.)
- Evaluate production schedule and expedite as necessary to ensure material is available when needed.
- Source material required for new products
- Negotiate pricing and assist estimating to develop competitive bids
- Coordinate supplier returns and quality issues.
- Support other departments with any purchasing related items Qualifications
- Strong organizational skills
- Accurate and detail oriented
- Communication and interpersonal skills
- 0 to 4 years work experience in Purchasing or related career
- Preferred
- Experience in metal procurement
- Preferred
- Degree or training in business or related discipline Compensation & Benefits
- Salaried position $18.00
- 20.00/hour depending on experience
- 40 Hours of PTO year 1, 80 hours of PTO year 2
- 8 Paid Holidays Annually
