Job Description

Join Our Team as a Part-Time Accounting & Purchasing Assistant The Allred is seeking a Part-Time Accounting & Purchasing Assistant to join our team in one of Oregon's most beautiful coastal destinations. Known for our warm hospitality, strong teams and commitment to remarkable guest experiences, the Allred offers a welcoming and supportive work environment. This is a great opportunity for someone who is detail-oriented and enjoys working collaboratively. In this role, you'll support the property's accounting and purchasing functions, working approximately 15 and 20 hours per week.

What You'll Do:
Create remarkable experiences for your colleagues and guests Create and audit daily revenue worksheets Complete daily journal entries and balance daily cash deposits Provide customer assistance for accounting and purchasing related inquiries Monitor inventory of guest and office supplies weekly and place orders as needed Maintain records of gift certificate redemptions; prepare and track promotional gift certificates and donations Local driving and less-frequent longer distance trips to get supplies and run errands Perform monthly inventory counts on items in the gift shop Track and file all purchasing communications and various accounting paperwork Prepare communications such as memos, emails, invoices, reports and other correspondence Perform other duties as assigned
What You Bring:
Basic understanding of accounting principles, financial concepts and strong attention to detail 2 - 3 years of related experience desired; hospitality experience preferred Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) Excellent communication and organizational skills Valid driver's license and insurable under company policy Ability to maintain confidentiality and demonstrate sound judgement A positive, can-do attitude and a willingness to jump in where needed Must maintain regular, reliable and punctual attendance Why Work With Us?
