Job Description
Job Summary We are on the lookout for a proactive and detail-oriented Assistant Talent Buyer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you'll support the talent acquisition process by helping to book and manage artists, performers, and acts for various events. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work closely with industry professionals, develop your skills in talent management, and gain firsthand experience in the music and entertainment scene. The ideal candidate is enthusiastic about music, social media, and building strong relationships within the industry. Duties Assist in booking talent by coordinating with artists, agents, and managers to secure performance agreements. Support contract negotiations ensuring all terms align with organizational standards and artist requirements. Manage relationships with talent agencies, artists, and clients to foster ongoing partnerships. Help develop marketing strategies for upcoming events using social media platforms and other promotional channels. Maintain organized records of contracts, negotiations, and communications using Microsoft Office tools. Contribute to social media management efforts by creating engaging content and promoting upcoming bookings. Collaborate with sales teams to maximize ticket sales and event visibility through targeted outreach and social media marketing. Qualifications Experience working as a talent agent or in talent management within the music or entertainment industry is highly desirable. Strong skills in contract negotiation, relationship management, and client communication. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, and Outlook. Familiarity with social media platforms including Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and TikTok for marketing purposes. Knowledge of the music industry's booking processes, talent acquisition strategies, and contract terms. Ability to negotiate terms effectively while maintaining positive relationships with artists and agencies. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail when managing contracts and schedules.
