Job Description

The Mission As an Assistant Purchaser, you'll help power Evergreen Market's product engine—keeping shelves dialed in with the right mix, at the right time, for a standout customer experience. This mid-level, onsite role is a rare leap from store-floor expertise into the purchasing lane. Key responsibilities include creating and managing purchase orders for assigned vendors, tracking deliveries and resolving vendor issues, reviewing sales to forecast demand, coordinating inventory needs for promos/holidays with Marketing and Inventory, supporting compliance-driven process changes, partnering on adjustments (shrink, returns, destruction), and spotting aged-inventory patterns.
Required skills/experience:
3+ years retail experience (cannabis strongly preferred) Inventory management and data-driven decision-making Excel/Word fundamentals; strong organization and follow-through Clear communication with stores, stakeholders, and vendors Must be 21+; able to use a computer for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs Ready to level up into purchasing—apply now. Benefits Medical, dental, and vision insurance to keep you covered, plus Paid Time Off to recharge. You'll also get Employee Discounts—so you can stay connected to the products and value you already know matter. Experience That May Transfer Well This role may be a strong fit for candidates with experience in cannabis retail, inventory management, purchasing, vendor communication, product ordering, merchandising, spreadsheets, sales trends, reporting, or retail operations. Experience with POS systems, purchase orders, product assortment, compliance, data entry, forecasting, or cannabis product knowledge may also be helpful.
