Scheduler LPN Preferred Northgate Health & Rehab | Bessemer, AL Northgate Health & Rehab is seeking an organized, detail-oriented Scheduler to join our team. This position plays a vital role in ensuring appropriate staffing coverage to support quality resident care in our skilled nursing and rehabilitation center. We are looking for a professional who thrives in a fast-paced healthcare environment, enjoys problem-solving, and excels at coordinating schedules while maintaining positive relationships with nursing staff and department leaders. Position Highlights Full-Time Opportunity Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) Environment LPN Preferred Competitive Pay and Benefits Collaborative Leadership Team Opportunity for Career Growth Responsibilities Create and maintain nursing schedules for RNs, LPNs, and CNAs Ensure adequate staffing levels to meet resident care needs and regulatory requirements Manage schedule changes, call-ins, shift swaps, and open shifts Communicate staffing needs with department leaders and nursing staff Assist with staffing reports, labor tracking, and payroll-related processes Monitor attendance and help maintain scheduling compliance Coordinate agency staffing when necessary Maintain accurate employee scheduling records Support recruitment and onboarding efforts by coordinating schedules for new hires Qualifications Previous scheduling experience in healthcare, skilled nursing, long-term care, assisted living, rehabilitation, or post-acute care preferred Active Alabama LPN license preferred but not required Strong organizational and time management skills Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines Experience with scheduling software and workforce management systems preferred Excellent communication and problem-solving skills Proficiency with Microsoft Office and computer systems Why Join Northgate Health & Rehab?
